Effective Date: June 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lifespec, including our iOS application, Android application, website, billing/account management website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Lifespec is operated by Taylor Sloan (“Lifespec,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). If Lifespec is later operated by a legal entity, such as Lifespec LLC, these Terms may be updated to reflect that change.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Lifespec, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Lifespec is a personal systems and self-improvement application that helps users define goals, create systems, track signals, manage action items, and receive AI-assisted recommendations.
Lifespec may include features for creating systems, specs, goals, check-ins, signals, action items, notes, reminders, summaries, evaluations, and AI-generated recommendations.
The Service may change over time. We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Lifespec.
By using the Service, you represent that:
Lifespec is not intended for children under 13.
You may need to create an account to use Lifespec.
You are responsible for:
You may not share your account, sell access to your account, or use another person’s account without permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for Lifespec or other users, failed to pay required fees, or used the Service unlawfully or abusively.
Lifespec may offer paid subscriptions, including a monthly subscription plan. Lifespec may also offer annual plans in the future.
Lifespec may offer a 14-day free trial before billing begins. Unless canceled before the end of the free trial, your subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price shown at checkout.
Lifespec may also offer a free tier with limited functionality, such as read-only access. Free tier features may be limited, modified, or discontinued at any time.
Subscription features, prices, plans, billing periods, trial availability, and included functionality may change over time. We will provide notice where required by law.
Paid subscriptions are billed through our billing website using Stripe or another payment processor we may use.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees, taxes, and recurring subscription charges.
You are responsible for keeping your billing information accurate and up to date.
If a payment fails, we may suspend, limit, or terminate access to paid features. We may also move your account to a free or read-only tier.
We do not store your full payment card details on our own systems. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors.
You may cancel your subscription through the billing or account management tools we provide.
Cancellation will stop future billing, but it may not automatically result in a refund for amounts already paid.
Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where Lifespec chooses, in its sole discretion, to provide a refund.
If we later offer purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play billing, cancellations and refunds for those purchases may be handled according to Apple’s or Google’s applicable terms, policies, and refund processes.
“User Content” means content, information, or materials that you create, upload, submit, enter, store, or generate through Lifespec, including systems, specs, goals, action items, signals, check-ins, notes, responses, and other information you provide.
You retain ownership of your User Content.
By using Lifespec, you grant Lifespec a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, copy, display, transmit, analyze, modify, and use your User Content solely as necessary to:
This license does not give Lifespec ownership of your User Content.
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to provide it to Lifespec.
Lifespec may use artificial intelligence features to generate, evaluate, summarize, revise, or recommend systems, specs, goals, action items, signals, check-ins, and other content.
AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or not suitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to rely on or use any AI-generated output.
Subject to these Terms, you may use AI-generated outputs created for you through Lifespec for your own personal purposes.
You may not, without Lifespec’s prior permission, systematically export, scrape, copy, or route Lifespec-generated outputs into another AI system, model-training pipeline, dataset, competing product, or automated service.
You may not use Lifespec or AI-generated outputs to:
Lifespec is not a medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, investment, relationship, or other professional advisory service.

We may investigate and take action against violations of this section, including suspending or terminating accounts.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or feature requests, you grant Lifespec the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
This does not give Lifespec ownership of your private User Content.
Lifespec and its software, design, branding, logos, features, interface, systems, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by Lifespec or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, we do not grant you any ownership or rights in Lifespec’s intellectual property.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on Lifespec except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Lifespec grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal use.
You may not use the Service for commercial resale, service bureau use, competing product development, or unauthorized automated use without Lifespec’s prior written permission.
Lifespec may rely on third-party services, including payment processors, authentication providers, analytics providers, cloud infrastructure, error-monitoring tools, AI providers, app stores, and other vendors.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Lifespec is not responsible for third-party services, and we do not control their practices.
If you download Lifespec from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app marketplace, your use of Lifespec may also be subject to that platform’s terms, rules, and policies.
These Terms are between you and Lifespec, not Apple, Google, or any app marketplace provider.
Apple, Google, and other app marketplace providers are not responsible for Lifespec, its content, support, maintenance, warranties, claims, or your use of the Service, except as required by applicable platform rules or law.
You agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms when using Lifespec.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Lifespec at any time.
We may add, remove, limit, or change features, plans, prices, usage limits, AI capabilities, integrations, or availability.
We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service, except where required by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify you by email, through the Service, on the website, or by other reasonable means. The updated Terms will be effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
Your continued use of Lifespec after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using Lifespec.
You may stop using Lifespec at any time.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Lifespec at any time if:
After termination, your right to use Lifespec will end. Certain sections of these Terms will continue to apply, including sections related to user content licenses, payments, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lifespec disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, security, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not guarantee that:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lifespec and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, personal injury, emotional distress, or other damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
